DANIEL: First thing that drew me to the series was I had an audition for it. Monday 9th September I left London today and met Bingley at Netherfield Park. Darcy's Diary, the plot, characters, and, well, almost everything else are pilfered from Jane Austen. So what drew you to THE LIZZIE BENNET DIARIES and what made you want to tackle a role as iconic as Mr. So I was excited to find this one and devour it. Darcy's Diary, a classic retelling of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice through Mr. Rebecca (RivkaBelle) said I LOVED Mr Darcy's Diary, and definitely looking forward to reading his letters :oD. So, it's really no surprise that I found this a great read. Darcy's Diary is a retelling of the original Pride and Prejudice. I had forgotten what good company he is; always ready to be pleased and always cheerful. One of the best love stories ever. I mentioned at the end of Amanda Grange's "Dueling Darcy's" post that you'd maybe want to keep an eye out for more about 2 of her books (which were referenced by the Darcys), Dear Mr Darcy and Pride and Pyramids Here is (one of) the reason(s) I told you to keep your eyes peeled. Like all girls, I love Pride and Prejudice. Available in: NOOK Book (eBook), Paperback. Mr Darcy's Diary commence avec la fuite de Georgiana Darcy et George Wickham, et se termine quelques mois après le mariage d'Elizabeth et Darcy. It adds a little to the beginning and to the end of the story. The story in this book is simply a re-telling of Pride and Prejudice, from Mr. Darcy's point of view, so I needn't say any more on that subject. Darcy's eyes explores this gentleman's mind frame through the entries in his diary. Nothing spectacular, but nice to read the story from another character's point of view. I'm a little biased on this one because I love the original story that Jane Austen crafted, and at least a few of the movie adaptations.
